Lollapalooza 2010

Hello Music Psychos! How are you? I Hope all is well

I finally got back from Chicago on Tuesday. I have to say that it was the best road trip that I have ever had! I have met awesome people! Special thanks to Jon (thank you for driving all the way to Chicago by yourself!!!) Brianna (Thank you for being so sweet all the time !), Anton (Damn you for all the comments that you’ve made lol), Saira (Daisuki), and Alex!

I saw so many bands: Phoenix, the Strokes, the Black Keys, Mute Math, X Japan, The Walkmen, Minus the Bear, The XX, Cut Copy, Arcade Fire, Javelin, Wavves, The New Pornographers, Spoon, MGMT, Metric, Grizzly Bear, and The National. I will be writing about the Top 10 performances at Lollapalooza in the next couple of posts for sure!

My impression of Lollapalooza was that it was very well organized - despite the fact that there were over 240,000 people in three days. The park is located in the middle of the downtown Chicago. I just can’t believe how beautiful it was at night to overlook at the stage surrounded by skyscrapers. Watching both Arcade Fire and Phoenix; I was almost in tears just to see the scenery - I was so happy to be the part of the show.
So I will be writing about the Top 10 performance and Lollapalooza playlist in up-coming posts - starting with number 10 tomorrow. Stay tuned!
